Restore Hope & Healing

Hi, I'm Haley. I provide relational, trauma-informed support to individuals and couples seeking to create more vibrant, dynamic, and resilient relationships and lives. It would be a privilege to join you in this journey as you restore hope and healing. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Specialties: EFT Using principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I can assist individuals and couples with exploring and understanding the role of emotions and emotion regulation strategies in the context of individual and relational functioning. EFT is an experiential process that draws upon principles from attachment science and other humanistic approaches. In the context of couples or marriage therapy, EFT goals can include the following: increased understanding of partner differences, increased ability to navigate areas of conflict, increased ability to engage in repair conversations regarding attachment wounds, increased ability to address underlying attachment needs and fears, and increased feelings of security and trust within the relationship. According to the International Association for Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT for couples is an empirically validated intervention in couples therapy (What Is EFT?, n.d.). EMDR Another modality in which I have training is in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is typically used in the individual treatment of trauma and PTSD. EMDR is a structured treatment that uses bilateral stimulation to activate the brain's natural healing mechanisms (EMDR International Association, 2023). EMDR goals can include a reduction in vividness and intensity of unresolved traumatic memories, a reduction in subjective feelings of distress associated with traumatic memories, and adaptive changes in thinking. I am licensed to practice in WA and ID, and am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). References: EMDR International Association. (2023, February 10).
